Southern Tiyul

This last week has been very busy. On thursday everyone left to go to the Southern Tiyul, which means trip, which involves going down south and hiking and having programs and stuff like that. But 4 of us from Noam stayed, anna, emma, katie and me because loads of noam people from england were coming outfor the Noam zionism seminar, so on thursday we were the only people onmachon which was really weird. We then met the Noam people and travelled up north with them to a kibutz where we had shabbat. Then on saturday night the 4 of us had to take a bus down south at 11.30 pm and we arrived in Eilat at like 5.30 in the morning. Beds were supposed to be saved for us in people's rooms so we could sleep for 2 hours when we got there, but when i got to my room it was full, so instead i went to the bar area and lay down on a couch there and rested and read my book. Over the next couple of days we did lots of hiking and we went snorkeling in the sea, which was nice but i cut my foot onthe rocks and now have a whole in the soul of my foot. And on the last night we stayed in a bedouin tent. Bedouins are nomadic people who live in the desert, but this one was a tourist attraction place, but it was nice anyway, we all slept in one big tent, and had really nice food and went camel riding.

We got back to Jerusalem yesterday and then i went to Jonny's where i'm staying now because we have 10 days holiday because it's passover, however jonny and michal have gone to england for it. This is the festival where youcan't eat bread or anything like that and you have to eat matzah. It's really weird not being home for it because i've never been anywhere else for it. Tonight i'm going to my cousins for seder (the meal you have at the beginning of passover) and then i'm staying at my uncles. Then tomorrow i hopefully should be going to this music festival on the beach, which should be mega cool, and then i'm not quite sure what i'll be doing for the rest of the holiday yet.
